I assisted in formulating Skin & Coat, am proud to be a veterinarian, but most importantly, I’m a dog owner...
As a veterinarian, it amazes me how often I see dogs come into my clinic with allergies.
But I never imagined my own dog would face severe seasonal allergies. I knew the side effects that medications prescribed to combat allergies have, and i’ve seen the research showing the impacts those medications can have on lifespans. And in all honesty, I was extremely hesitant to use them on my own dog.
With the help and support of the team at Hound & Co and my background in internal medicine, my hesitation led me to discover a unique combination of scientifically proven ingredients that, combined together, created a recipe for allergy relief. I began to test this product with my own dog, Mia, giving her this unique blend of natural ingredients consistently.
I was shocked at the result.
For the first time in years, Mia didn’t chew her paws raw. Even my colleagues began to take notice and asked what medication I had prescribed her. They were surprised to find out my results came from some simple power-packed ingredients that we formulated into 1 product.

Our key ingredient is Evening Primrose Oil.
Evening primrose oil regenerates the metabolism of the skin, soothes discomfort, relieves itching, and restores uniformity, softness and elasticity to the skin structure.
It does this through the monosaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids contained within evening primrose oil - most importantly omega-6. Dogs bodies cannot produce them itself, so they must be supplied through food or supplements.

Byron loves these skin and coat chews…like seriously loves them. He’s super picky with treats so I was pleasantly surprised that he liked taking these.
