Hound & Co is a very personal project for me... I recently had to face the hardest decision of my life, one that I had nightmares about for years - putting my best friend Carter to sleep.
Nothing will ever replace the happiness Carter brought me, but as he aged he started facing problem after problem. It started with things like severe allergies and arthritis, but in his last few years the ailments got more severe including diabetes and GOLPP. To this day, I carry a lot of guilt wondering if I could have done more in terms of supplementation to give him additional healthy years.
Creating Hound & Co. was the result of this guilt and my collaboration with my childhood friend Dr. Jacob Klos who shares my passion for dogs. We know how much happiness pet ownership can bring, and we wanted to establish a community of like-minded pet owners who strive to provide their dogs with healthy, joyful lives.
