    Relief for My Senior Dog

    I adopted my sweet boy from a shelter when he was 4 1/2. Now long after I brought him home, he started with ear infections and scratching, and always licking his paws. One vet appointment after the other and Apoquel, ear drops, then Ketoconazole and Prednisone. This has been costly to a senior citizen like me!!     So far so good

    While Monty still chews at his paws sometimes, I have definitely noticed a decrease in the amount of times he seems irritated by itchiness. I have been very consistent with the supplements and they seem to be making a difference. Their dosing is nice too. You don't have to give 2 to 3 supplements a day. For my dog, who is just about 40 pounds. The recommended dose is one chew per day. So you actually get ninety days out of one container. They are more reasonably priced than a lot of the other supplements I've looked at. I will continue to use them.

    Allergy chews

    So far our dog Penelope is doing great on the allergy chews! Even our vet said she thought the chews were a great idea. We have been weaning her off of apoquel, should be done soon.

    I am hoping to order the hip and joint chews next.

    Slowly But Surely

    After two months, Fred is not scratching as much, but still has yeast in his leg creases and a little in between his toes; never had sores. Ears are completely clear. Still trying to diagnose either seasonal allergies or food allergies, or maybe both. We live in Florida, so seasonal allergies last longer than in other parts of the country.
